De Romein Group has undertaken various tasks on behalf of Van Gelder Cable, Pipeline, and Assembly Works for the De Monden project. In Musselkanaal, the pipeline networks of Water Supply Company Drenthe (WMD) and Water Company Groningen were interconnected. The Drenthe water network was connected to the Groningen pipeline network using a T-junction. The tasks we performed included:
- Excavating 2,500 m3 of soil due to a shallow depth
- Supplying and installing 22,940 meters of PVC pipe
- Cleaning, testing, and pressurizing the water pipeline
- Excavating approximately 91,400 m3 of soil from the work area
- Processing soil within the work area
- Excavating approximately 49,200 m3 of soil from the trench
- Processing soil in the trench
- Tilling, leveling, fertilizing, and seeding the soil
- Providing and processing 9,900 m3 of soil for soil improvement
- Removing pavement
- Restoring paving
- Installing protective pipes
- Installing concrete crash barriers
- Restoring drainage systems
