Zeelink Aken
- Blog_field_Dienst Leidingbouw
Construction of a 216 km long natural gas pipeline from the Belgian-German border at Lichtenbusch to Sankt Hubert near Krefeld, and further to Legden near Ahaus in North Rhine-Westphalia.
ZEELINK is the largest standalone project in the Gas Network Development Plan 2015 (NDP Gas) of the Federal Network Agency. The pipeline connects to the LNG terminal in Zeebrugge, thereby contributing to the diversification of routes and sources for Germany's natural gas supply. The name ZEELINK is derived from the Belgian LNG terminal in Zeebrugge.
For Construction Lots 1 and 2, De Romein, on behalf of the Arge Max Streicher/Denys consortium, is carrying out the following civil works over a distance of 20 km:
We are preparing the work area by stripping the topsoil and constructing access roads. For the construction of the access roads, the option was chosen to dismantle the roads, which consist of panels or dragline panels, once the technical works were completed, allowing the material to be reused for further construction along the route. Additionally, we will handle cleanup, which includes profiling and loosening the subsoil and then replacing the topsoil.
