Week der Besten 2025 – an edition to be proud of!

From August 8 to 17, the 31st edition of the Week der Besten took place in Vlagtwedde. This year De Romein Group was the main sponsor of the festival week for the first time.

The sponsorship came about in part thanks to colleague Gert Huttinga, who for many years has been a driving force as a volunteer and master of ceremonies during the festival week. This year he again played an important role in a variety of activities, from the Truckrun and Music bingo to the Pubquiz and Strijd der Besten.

The Week der Besten got off to a flying start with performances by La Fuente, Q-Music The Party and the Piraten Power Hour. The official opening on Sunday drew large crowds, with four De Romein trucks also participating in the Truckrun. Throughout the week there was a large and enthusiastic audience at events such as the Masked Singer (400 visitors), 'Music bingo' (250 participants), Pubquiz (80 teams), Water spectacle and, of course, the finale: the 'Strijd der Besten' with 11 passionate teams.

Thanks to the good weather, the commitment of many volunteers and the visible presence of De Romein Group — from banners and LED screen to clothing and materials - this edition was once again a great success! ✨
